Cyprus, particularly the southern half, is one of Europe’s biggest holiday destinations and has been for a number of years. While thousand’s arrive in the island weekly, and many of them young and full of blood, there are endless towns to let your hair down.
British tourists in particular go to Cyprus in droves. All the biggest resorts have strips which are lined with endless bars pumping out dance tunes and have ‘PRs’ outside coaxing passer-bys into their pubs, usually offering them some type of promotion like two shots for the price of one with every drink.
One resort which Cypriot nightlife has become famed for over the last 5 years is Ayia Napa. This is definitely becoming the ‘new Ibiza’. Where Ibiza is known for its nightclubs with house music and famous DJ’s, Ayia Napa is more known as a “Garage” music area, thus extremely popular with the British.
